The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh State has launched YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme. Under this pension scheme, the state govt is providing incentives in the form of financial assistance to the needy in various categories. AP YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme
Financial assistant to all the Old Age, Disabled People, Widows will be provided up to 10 years by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Initially an amount of Rs 2250 is provided to the beneficiary in the first year.

Eligibility Criteria for YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme
- The beneficiary must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh state.
- They must belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.
- To avail of the benefits of this scheme, the applicant is not able to avail of any other pension scheme under Central and State Govt.
- Age Criteria for Various Pension Schemes

| Old Age | 60 years of age or above |
| Widow | 18 years and above |
| Disabled Minimum | 40% of disability and no age limit |
| Weavers 50 | 50 years of age or above |
| Toddy Tappers | 50 years of age or above |
| Transgender | 18 years of above or above |
| Fishermen | 50 years of age or above |
| Single Woman | Married women who are separated from more than 1 year and above 35 years of age. Unmarried women of- Rural Area: 30 years and Urban Area: 35 years |
| Traditional Cobblers | 40 years of age |
| Dappu Artists | 50 years of age |
